An accountant by training, Patsy Asple is a director of a significant local private group of companies and has extensive experience in financial and business management. The group is involved in the private retirement home sector as part of its overall portfolio.

Jean Carty
Jean Carty originally from Dublin, has been living in Gorey since 1982. Jean has three grown up children. Having worked as a nurse/midwife for many years, Jean changed career to work as Health & Safety Advisor for the HSE working in the South East before retiring in 2010.

Diarmuid Devereux
Diarmuid Devereux is a native of Gorey and is a retired Engineer having spent 24 years working in Telecom Eireann and a further 14 years as Managing Director of MDK Analytical and Mc Allister Devereux Keating Limited.
A keen participant in gaelic games, and fly fishing, he served as Chairman Wexford GAA from 2012- 2016, and was appointed Trustee of the Waterville Lakes and Rivers Trust in 2017. He currently holds the position of voluntary CEO of Gorey Chamber.
He is married to Yvonne and they have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.

Darragh O'Doherty
Darragh O’Doherty is a Gorey native. He is a G.P. in the town for 25 years and he is proud to be associated with St. Aidan’s since his return to Gorey

Fintan O'Donoghue
Fintan O'Donoghue is a native of Dublin but living in North Wexford from his teens. Previously, he served twenty one years in the Irish Air Corps as an Aircraft Engineering Inspector and Helicopter Aircrew. Latterly, he has worked for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution as Coast Staff / Divisional Assessor Trainer, providing assessment, training and quality assurance to lifeboat crews for the last fourteen years.
For the last twenty seven years he has been a volunteer Lifeboat Helm and Launch Authority at his local lifeboat station.
Fintan's association with Saint Aidan's spans over twenty years, as the parent of a service user, and as a member of the Board of Directors.

Vincent Kearney
Vincent Kearney, originally from Athlone, has been living in Gorey since 1996. A father of two grown up daughters, he is now retired from the Ulster Bank where he latterly served in an Area Manager role.
Vincent joined the Board in 2007 and shortly thereafter he served as Chairperson for a number of years. He has served on a number of different committees over his working life and is passionate about the positive contribution our Organisation makes to our community.

Mary Kenny
Mary is originally from Baltinglass and living in the Gorey are since 1971. Mary is a parent representative on the Board of Directors and has been associated with the Parents & Friends Committee of St. Aidan’s for the past 16 years.

Pat O'Shea
Pat O'Shea is a native of New Ross, Co.Wexford. He joined Bank of Ireland in 1967 and was transferred to Gorey as Branch Manager in 1987.
He is now retired from Banking and continues to live in Gorey. Having seen the extraordinary work and scale of services St. Aidans provides in the North Wexford area he was delighted to be elected on to the Board in 2017.
